You are not able to schedule for anyone above the age of 18 as they are a legal adult. They must reach out to me directly to schedule themselves. You may share my website and contact information with them and encourage them to connect with me.
When do you refer out?
Please be aware that some concerns require a specialist. Referring clients to specialists is an important aspect of ethical and effective mental health therapy. I recognize there are limits to my scope of practice and refer clients to qualified professionals when specialized services are needed. Referrals may be appropriate for concerns such as substance use disorders/addiction, eating disorders, psychiatric medication management, psychological testing, or other issues requiring expertise beyond my training. A consultation call is an effective method to determine if your concerns fall under my scope of practice.
